The visit of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, and the Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad Turko, to the pavilion of Qasioun Private University at the 63rd Damascus International Fair.
The pavilion of Qasioun Private University at the 63rd Damascus International Fair received a high-level official visit from the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, and the Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad Turko. During their tour, the ministers and their accompanying delegation were briefed on the university's latest academic programs and specialized fields, as well as its development plans in scientific research, digital transformation, and smart infrastructure.
The two ministers commended the outstanding level of the Qasioun Private University pavilion and the efforts made to enhance the quality of the educational and academic process. They emphasized the pivotal role that private universities play in supporting national development and providing highly qualified personnel capable of actively contributing to building the future.

Qasyoun Private University for Science and Technology is a private Syrian educational institution that grants bachelor's degrees in several disciplines.
The university recently received approval to establish new colleges and programs offering bachelor's degrees: the College of Human Medicine, the College of Digital Engineering for Building and Construction, the College of Technology and Applied Health Sciences (with specialized fields), the College of Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and Communications Engineering, the College of Law, and the Technical Institute for Informatics and Computer Science. The university also recently received approval to introduce master's degree programs in all colleges.
The university's main campus is located on the Damascus-Amman International Highway, approximately 35 km from the Jordanian-Syrian border. The university also has a permanent administrative office in the Mezzeh district of Damascus. Since its inception, the university has aspired to be a center of leadership and excellence, producing highly qualified graduates capable of meeting life's challenges and contributing to the service of the local and regional community.
The university welcomed its first cohort of students at the beginning of the 2005/2006 academic year. It was founded by Jordanian experts who played a significant role in establishing the university according to high standards. The university graduated its first class at the end of the second semester of the 2009/2010 academic year, and to date, it has graduated fourteen classes.

Qasioun Private University of Science and Technology announces the establishment of new colleges and a technical institute
In a new achievement added to its journey of excellence and development, Qasyoun Private University for Science and Technology announces the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish new faculties and a technical institute at the university, pursuant to Resolutions No. 615 and 638.
This achievement is the culmination of the university's ongoing efforts to develop its academic system, enhance the educational process, and provide a modern and stimulating university environment conducive to creativity and innovation. This contributes to preparing highly qualified and skilled scientific and professional personnel, whose graduates have proven their distinguished presence in the job market at both the local and international levels.
Pursuant to the two resolutions, the following were established:

The Qasioun Private University pavilion at the Damascus International Book Fair witnessed a remarkable turnout for the second consecutive day, particularly from students, researchers, academics, and families.
The Ministry of Culture presented a commemorative plaque to the university's pavilion in recognition of its excellence, active participation, high visitor numbers, and the valuable academic and scientific content it offers.

The pavilion of Qasioun Private University at the Damascus International Book Fair received another official visit from the Minister of Culture, Mr. Muhammad Yassin Al-Saleh, accompanied by his deputy and the Director of the Damascus International Book Fair, Mr. Saad Naasan, as part of their tour of the participating entities' pavilions.
During the visit, the Minister reviewed the most prominent academic and research publications offered by the university, in addition to the cultural and scientific activities through which it contributes to supporting the cultural movement and enhancing the role of scientific research in serving society. He also listened to a detailed explanation from the pavilion's staff about the academic programs offered by the university and its development plans aimed at keeping pace with scientific advancements and meeting the needs of the labor market.
